About Us
AvantGarde Parents as Coaches is part of AvantGarde Coaching Group. As a coaching group we specialise in empowering people to discover, develop and live their full potential. AvantGarde Coaching Group also offers executive coaching services and coaching retreats.
AvantGarde Parents as Coaches was set up by Carla Vieira and Luella Goethals, who met on an ICF Accredited Coaching Training program and quickly discovered that they shared a thriving passion – the thrive to continuously discover and learn but more, the passion to empower people by sharing their insights and knowledge. Carla Vieira has now gone on specialising in Business Coaching, especially so strategy, vision and leadership coaching. You will find more on Carla's coaching services here IES Coaching. Carla has also set up the Strategy Research Forum, an on-line platform for people interested in strategy research and its application in business consulting and coaching.
Our friendship has taken us to discover new horizons. One of these horizons is the development of the PEC (Parent Empowerment Coaching) Model for Parent and Family Coaching. Both are geographically located in Europe; Luella lives in France and Carla in Switzerland. Later Dr. Sivam Chandrasekhar and his wife Prabha Chandrasekhar have joined our team and are contributing their vast experience as acoaches, parents and partners to our clients. Dr. Sivam Chandrasekhar and his wife Prabha Chandrasekhar are based in India and offer their services in English and Hindi.
We all have different cultural backgrounds and experiences, and yet, we have similar personality traits and characteristics so that we immediately understand each other. We have discussed, laughed, researched, disagreed, agreed and advised each other on this model and we are now exploring new areas in coaching and developing new tools and techniques for personal development and empowerment.
Though, we have researched and conceptualised the PEC Model and tailored our Coaching Services together, as a team we have decided to specialise in different areas, you will find a detailed description of our respective areas of specialisation listed under our individual curriculum vitae sections.
