Dr. Sivam Chandrasekhar

I have been happily married with my wife, Prabha, for the past 37 years and have a daughter and a son, who are both happily married to Americans, and have settled in the US. Prabha and I are blessed with a grandson and a grand daughter, through our daughter.

I decided to switch our areas of specializations to one based on life coaching and Psychology, about 5 years back. I have been counseling and offering services as Life Coaches and have started offering my services to clients from all over the world through Tele Coaching , after obtaining certification from an accredited academy in Life Coaching. This switch was based on mine and my wife's life passion, to interact with individuals and groups , with a view to making a difference in their lives!! I offer my services to both as a couple and as individuals, depending on the clients’ preference.

My coaching philosophy is based on enlightenment through awareness creation and enrichment of the clients’ knowledge through his or her own introspection. The clients become aware that they are more successful when they turn inwards, and focus on their own strengths, rather than outwards.

My very first graduation was in Chennai, India, at the Madras University, with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering. My post graduate degrees, namely, MS in Chemical Engineering, was from the Johns Hopkins University and a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Worked for the Amoco Chemicals Corporation, now British Petroleum, in their Research and Development Division, till 1975, and then pursued my professional career in India. Associated with an engineering consultancy organization and followed it up with contract assignments for the Planning Commission (Government of India), Bureau of Industrial Costs and Prices, Ministry of Industry (Government of India), culminating in an assignment as the Chief executive of the Biotech Consortium (India) Ltd. , set up by the Department of Science and technology, Government of India and the All India Financial Institutions.

Today I work as a project leader and consultant for a big health institution in India as well as an independent coach for families and executives.
