Luella Goethals
Luella Goethal graduated in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from King’s College London and has an MBA from the International School of Management in Paris, ENPC (L’Ecole Nationale des ponts et Chaussées). She is also a Certified Professional Coach having graduated from an ICF accredited Coaching Program. In addition she is a certified trainer in Situational Leadership II, by the Ken Blanchard Companies. She started her career as a programmer in the city of London and later worked in a pan-European environment as a Business Analyst in Information Technology. Following this she worked as a Project Manager for one of the leading French SmartCard manufacturers, managing projects in India, USA and the UK.
Finally she decided to dedicate herself to what she finds most challenging and motivating – developing the potential of individuals in their work as well as in their private setting. She reoriented her career towards Coaching and Training and pursued further studies in personal development and the achieving of one’s potential. She started her coaching and training career as a consultant, coach and trainer for French multinational companies and American subsidiaries in France. Luella was exposed to different cultures and languages early on in life and is bilingual in English and French and still remembers some of the Swahili she learnt at age 3, when she lived in Africa. Luella looks back to a fruitful career and a vast array of different experiences working in various industries and different functions all over the globe. Today she is a happy mother of 3, enjoying her life/work-balance sharing quality time with her family and enjoying working with clients building harmonious, fruitful and happy families.
Luella's areas of specialisation in family and parenting coaching are:
- Coaching and training parents in acquiring empowerment and self-help techniques to manage their families and accompany their children on their self-discover path and guide them towards becoming responsible adults and successful individuals.
- Coaching parents trough the process of guiding their children through difficult periods in life, such as transition phases from childhood to adolescence, and adolescence to adulthood.
- Coaching parents through the process of acquiring empowerment coaching tools and techniques to share with their children.
- Providing the Parents as Coaches Program and other specially tailored educational programs for parents and children.
- Providing teleclass and in-person workshops for private and public institutions.
- Coaching families to achieve an adequate and harmonious distribution of roles, responsibilities and task at home.
- Coaching parents, teenagers and children using the PEC model through all aspects and areas of life.
- Coaching multi-cultural and expatriate families to adapt and settle down in the expatriate country, integrating into society and building up a network for the family and children at school.
- Coaching the families of executives around the theme of supporting their children’s integration into the new surroundings at school and with peer groups.
- Coaching families on the subjects of constructive leadership, non-aggressive communication, conflict resolution, consensus building and adherence to the mutually agreed on family principles and rules.
